About
Introducing "Bengal Spices," a delightful culinary gem nestled in Ashfield House, Llanymynech, UK. Known for its exquisite Indian cuisine, this charming venue promises an unforgettable gastronomic journey infused with authentic flavors and spices.
Bengal Spices doesn't just serve food; it creates an experience. Customers rave about the "super food" and "amazing staff," making it a local favorite. When you step inside, you're greeted by a warm ambiance and friendly faces that elevate your dining experience. The commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction is evident, catering to both dine-in and takeaway enthusiasts alike.
The menu at Bengal Spices is a testament to the rich culinary heritage of India. Whether you're craving a hearty Vegetable Balti or the fragrant essence of Pilau Rice, each dish is carefully crafted with vibrant spices that resonate with taste buds. However, there have been some mixed reviews on menu items like the King Prawn Vindaloo, which some customers found milder than expected. But don't let that deter you — many other dishes have garnered rave reviews for their depth of flavor and freshness.
Highlighting customer experiences, one patron noted that on Wednesdays, patrons can indulge in a remarkable 6-course meal for an astonishing price of £13.95. This outstanding value adds to the appeal of Bengal Spices, making it a perfect spot for food lovers seeking both quality and affordability.
However, it's worth mentioning that portion sizes, such as those for the mixed kebab starter, have been critiqued as not offering the best value. Yet, for many, this minor hiccup is overshadowed by the deliciousness of the main dishes, leading to repeat visits and heartfelt recommendations.
In conclusion, Bengal Spices embodies the spirit of Indian dining with a menu filled with traditional dishes that highlight the best of South Asian flavors. Each visit promises a unique experience, and with attentive service, cleanliness, and an inviting atmosphere, it's a destination that truly deserves a spot on every food lover's map. Give Bengal Spices a try; you might find your new favorite dish waiting for you.
“ Always tasty but the vindaloo dish was disappointingly mild. Hot curries I know are down to personal taste but my king prawn vindaloo was such a let down. Won't put me off though, just a gentle reminder next time I order should put things right Friendly staff and clean surroundings. Give it a try ”

“ This little curry house is a magical oasis. Great food and nice waiter. If you want great Indian food whilst you have one foot in Wales and the other one in England this is the place. ”
“ One of the best curries I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Samber (spicy and sour) - which was a new dish for me - along with aloo gobi, mushroom pilau and a plain naan. Each element was superb. Honestly cannot remember a curry this good. I will return. ”
